The Lakers were the visitors in their own house but they still made it their home ending their road losing streak after their travel weary trip last week. PRESS PASSES: Extra news coming from the Lakers/Cippers Los Angeles derby. Impressive rookie big Derrick Caracter has really been stepping it up but he took too many steps last night as he injured his ankle. Now with Derrick joining veteran Ratliff on the injury list and with Gasol still banged up it's time for the Lakers to introduce another post presence. Well a 10 day contract or free agent signing could be useful but may not be needed as Andrew Bynum may return earlier than expected on this road trip. Bynum stated there was "No more pressure." for him to come back after Caracter's injury but still the player expects to take centre stage in Washington on Tuesday.TIM DAVID HARVEY.
