He did it! Last night Kobe's 25 points put him past Oscar Robertson as ninth on the NBA All-Time scoring list with 26,720 points. Kobe hit yet another milestone this week in leading his Lakers to a 101-97 victory over the New Orleans Hornets and old Laker friends, Trevor Ariza and D.J. Mbenga (who collected his championship ring next to an all smiling Bryant. Congratulations D). As Kobe keeps climbing the scoring ladder however, the mamba is also falling down the injury snake pit. The legend, along with Andrew Bynum still has to watch his knee, especially last night. Bynum himself looked strong in 31 minutes with his jersey number in points (17). Still these two where still a concern, especially as both of the Lakers two most recent additions went down with sprains. Matt Barnes sprained his right knee and Steve Blake his left ankle. At least Pau Gasol looked mighty healthy with a killer, 21 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists as he hit another double, double and almost tripled up. TIM DAVID HARVEY.
