Things are sure looking up for the Lakers after their opening night celebration double up. Sure Bynum may still be out, his replacement Ratliff may be hurt and Luke Walton may have come back just to reinjure himself but one guy who does look healthy is Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba may not have been a predator against Houston but he still had a lot of venom in him. Kobe still set the table with a stellar 27 points, all whilst serving his teammates with perfect dishes. "Do you really have to worry about me finding my shot?," Kobe told reporters showing that he may have lost a step with his injury but none of his confidence. Kobe still will have to be monitored day to day as he rehabs from his offseason knee surgery. Still Kobe was feeling Nina Simone good with his 'Like Mike' tongue out. Bryant played 37 minutes against Houston but had no problems, "I felt good," number 24 said. Lets just hope were not speaking too soon. TIM DAVID HARVEY.
