LAKERS LATEST

The Lakers are suffering a few leaks in their championship machine right now. So G.M. Mich Kupchak wants to make some moves to steady the ship. "Regarding a trade, I may have to," the Lake Show's one-time power forward told NBA.com. "I'm not saying that I've made calls today or I'll make them tomorrow. But I just don't think that we're playing as well as our talent level should allow us," he added, hinting that if the Lakers put down more games he'll be picking up the phone. After a big loss to Boston and inconsistencies by the bus load, Kupchak believes that owner Jerry Buss feels the same. It's time for L.A. To stop being so disconnected. The showtime must go on.
