More news coming out of La, La, Lakerland. It seems that after Mitch Kupchack's trade talk, someone in L.A. is listening. It has been reported that Ron Artest would like a trade...and it was all good just a year ago. Artest has played for a lot of teams and seemed to have found the one with these Hollywood stars, but there appears to be smoke..and fire with these rumors. ESPN's Marc Stein has reported that a source has told him Ron hopes he is the guy involved in the trade. It's a shame because Artest was one of the pivotal reasons the Lakers repeated last year as champions and will be if they catch that elusive three-peat. Sure Ron has suffered some ill-form this season and the Lakers are sick of losing and playing sporadic, but the answer isn't always to shake things up, especially as this former instigator has calmed down and let his game outburst.
